Our visit to RA Congress at the Missouri State Fair Grounds

     The church took our boys to the RA Congress this week. We had a blast with our boys. The boys got to try their hands on some events that they don't always get to perform. Anything from archery to racing pine wood derby cars. They also got to compete in some sports skills challenges.  Each of these boys did great and had fun.  They were all treated to a good weekend spending time with their brothers in Christ from our church and others through out Missouri.
     We took a total of 5 boys and 5 men from our church.  The boys consisted of Mason Dunn, Marrick Dunn, Josh Caffrey, Jimmy Phan & Mackinley Dunn.  The 5 men that attended were Don Hickson, Josh Williams, Matt Dunn, Ron Manning and Jerry Carter.
     Jerry and Ron helped heavily in the RA racers. They maintained a level of commitment to these boys and helped them with their cars. Ron spent countless hours prepairing the boys cars so that they would be ready to race.
     While Ron and Jerry maintained the racers Matt, Josh and Don all took our boys around to allow them to show off their skills in events. Several of the boys perticipated in these events, Rather it was little Marrick showing off his skills in one compition or Jimmy and Mason shooting baskets in the Hot Shots compition they all had a blast. Josh Caffrey shooting the bow and arrow or Mackinley throwing a football as far as he could they all did their best and it was great to see.
      As a leader of these boys and a friend I for one look forward to going back next year and seeing these kids have a good time. Below are some pictures I have taken from our time at the RA Congres hope you all enjoy them as much as we enjoyed being there.
